We are looking for a skilled Cloud FinOps Engineer to design and implement cloud financial strategies that optimize costs, increase transparency, and maximize the value of cloud investments.
In this key role, you will act as the bridge between Cloud Engineering, Finance and Procurement teams ensuring financial accountability across the organization’s cloud operations. You will analyze usage patterns, identify optimization opportunities, and implement automated reporting tools to improve efficiency and cost visibility.

Your Responsibilities
Support the implementation of FinOps best practices as defined by internal governance.
Monitor cloud usage and identify cost optimization opportunities across applications and environments.
Provide actionable insights to engineering and business teams to enhance cloud cost efficiency.
Maintain dashboards and reports to ensure cost transparency and anomaly detection.
Coordinate governance of cloud resources between Cloud Infrastructure and Application DevOps teams.
Key Activities
Analyze usage patterns, spend trends, and budget variances.
Collaborate with engineering teams to improve cloud resource efficiency.
Track and validate savings initiatives through measurable business cases.
Automate reporting and alerting for cost anomalies and cloud spend.
Define tagging strategies and cost allocation methods across environments.
Calculate demand forecasts for cloud usage, rates, and purchase commitments.
Your Experience & Skills
Strong understanding of cloud architectures, services, and usage patterns (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Hands-on experience with cloud cost management and billing tools (native or third-party).
Solid grasp of cloud pricing models, billing structures, and rate optimization.
Proficiency with data visualization and reporting dashboards (Power BI, AWS Cost Explorer, or similar).
Analytical mindset with the ability to identify and act on cost anomalies and trends.
Familiarity with engineering environments, collaboration tools, and agile working models.
Prior exposure to financial reporting, budgeting, or forecasting processes.
Soft Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
Proactive mindset with the ability to propose improvements and challenge the status quo.
English: fluent (working language). French and/or German: an asset.
